z22_cariad Quickest way to get to everyone sorry.today had code 0507. My egr is blanked but there wad an air leak. I took plate off and the outer half where it bolts into has sheared off. Am I fucked or can it b welded. Sorry fir posting on here
evocarlos got a pic ? do you have the egr cheater on ? you can fit a pop can gasket to the front pipe but without the egr plate the exhaust gas would come in to the egr hole and blow into the engine bay
z22_cariad It was blanked but where it bolts on the outer part has snapped off the engine block its self . I put a pic up now
evocarlos hmmm dont look like an easy fix unless you can block the port on the exhaust manifold you can weld alloy with a mig welder 🙂 just get the wire and gas then fill the holes with weld 🙂
