Matt That sounds like the problem I had when it was the top of the struts that had gone. I think they are starting to get to that age where things are going to start going wrong with them now 🙁
Daz Then top mounts look ok.... and no movement in them at all, but my next plan was to strip the n/s strut out and see whats going on in there..
Matt Still there, and bugging me now! Defo seems to be coming from the near side front, and I'm suspecting it's the pad in the caliper.

Daz yup.... its exactly like an arb knock....even stood on the slam panel and jumped up nd down.... and it wont do it....its only when u go over any bump with the n/s/f.

Matt Got all my stuff with me this morning. Really hope it's just the pads, as I can't be arsed with it at the moment
Matt Just been out for an hour, and everything seems tight enough. Just to be safe, I've had a socket on everything and hit it a few times with a lump hammer. Driving it a bit, and it's not doing it now, so will see if that cures it.
Matt The noise is still there. I'm beginning to think it's the FARB or something similar, as the breaks aren't moving.
