Bought stereo on fleabay it just arrived n its fucked. All wires chopped, metal casing all bent and coming off, facia has pin missing on the side to hold it on. Tamping aint thevword. Seller said there was no problems when he had it. Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh

Yeah it looks like it that. The wires are crimped and theres super glue on the facia and surround where its being held together. Theres even a cd in it

The guy wont give in. Keeps saying it was in perfect condition when he sent it.
Ive managed to fix it (im a master with elec things :-D ) not the point tho

Sure if you open a case show the condition it was in with his listing and what you actually received eBay will sort it.

That's bullshit. Distance selling etc, and eBay nearly always side with the buyer in these sort of cases. It can't just arrive in that condition if it was "perfect" when it left him.

That's why the last time I sold a radio online, I took a youtube video of it working in the car, and pictures of it packed up so I was covered as a seller.

and does it look like it did in the picture when it turned up? That picture doesn't show a fitting cage, just the stereo.

No the facia didnt fit cos the lugs at the end had snapped off and the look looks goodvin photo but was all snapped n connecters added

Should of just clicked return item and entered the reason and let ebay take control, they would of said yes and you would of received the full money back. You can return any item up 30 days under the distance selling regulations regardless of the reason, ebay know this too
