Strut brace

Strut brace wanted foe my coupe. Seen price on new n they silly money for what it is. Second hand preferred

Not needed on the astras unless you need to increase understeer.
The strut towers sit close enough to the firewall they don't flex much at all.

Thought it would decrease understeer ??? So lowered suspension on gsi shocks is cool ???

more support at front = understeer
more at rear = oversteer

as long as your springs aren't more than 30mm you will be fine.

I think they're 40mm. They're on standard shocks atm but got gsi shocks on the way

Do you have a rear anti-roll bar fitted?

I'd scrap the strut brace, and use the money for the RARB. They totally transform the car, and are £ for £ the best mod for the MK4 / MK5 Astra.

Guessing that they're quite expensive then

That's the one I have, and most people go for that version.

Fingers crossed I pass my interview next Tuesday n I'll get myself one.

the gsi shocks and the 2.2 shocks are the same the curb weight is all be 30kg difference 🙂

I'd say GSI heavier, due to the ally block in the Z22SE

it lighter than the 2l turbo the gsi is a cast iron block the 2.2 is all alloy 🙂
