Astra22SRi How many different throttle bodies were fitted to the Z22SE? I bought a second hand one off fleabay and ported it then tried it on the car and it ran like a bag of spanners sounding like a machine gun. The bodies are externally identical bar a number on the casting. Would this be the problem? and would it run okay porting my original throttle body?
Astra22SRi The butterfly was in the fully closed position when I was doing it so as not to make any gaps, I then made sure it was not sticking and cleaned out the throttle body when I was done. Will post a pic later tonight.
vocky all the z22se throttle bodies are the same, so could be a bad connection on the wiring plug or it's faulty
