value of engine and gearbox?

hi all. dont know if this is the right section or not so im sorry if in the wrong place. as some of you might know i am going to be changing my 2.2 for a v6 soon. i am planning on putting my engine and gearbox on ebay in the next 3-4weeks on a 30day listing. this is to let people come and hear it running and let them drive it if needed. the engine is on 128k with a slight rattle for 1-2 sec on start up. no service history as ive lost it during the house move 🙁. what do you think i will get for this package? will not come with engine loom. cheers jp

looking on ebay you can pick up an engine and gearbox package for £350-400 with alot less miles so maybe less than 300 with high mileage and the requirement of new chains

ok well im lucky in that i work for a haulage firm so i was thinking of saying 250 deliverd. do you think thats a fair price as it does no t cost me to send anything on a pallet.

yeh it would defo include free delivery as i wont have to pay for it, not out to make a fortune out of the old engine. just enought to get most of my money back for the vectra. i will sell a few things off it and weigh the rest in. should = at least free engine if not a cheap ish conversion.
