Testing new Win 8 Tablet

I haven't liked Windows 8 at all, but got a device to test a new Toshiba WT310 tablet, the specs pretty high for a tablet Intel i5\SSD\4GB ram and I am actually coming round to Windows 8 with this tablet.

I won't be rushing out and re-imaging my desktop to Win 8, but quite like it on this 🙂

Having used Win8. I can really see the appeal on a proper touch tablet.

That's a really good spec, only 4GB less RAM that my laptop!

Only 2nd day of using it and I really come round to it, the touch screen is spot on and with this spec I have not had any speed issues.

How is the battery? Also, what's the heat produced like?

So far Battery is giving me 2Hrs, but just tweaked some settings should get around 3Hrs.

Heat is good, but watched a video with Little H yesterday and the top got rather warm near the fan area.

They are not cheap though. I will be wanting to test it with a dock so we can PXE boot etc.

They are not cheap lol, I couldn't justify that cost personally or even half that, I think I have one of the first from the channel from Toshiba to test that's a non trial unit.

i used an ipad for the 1st time today all i can say what a piece of shit slow and unresponsive screen but hey its an apple product so was expected 🙂
my broken phone screen is better thats a windows phone did always want a win8 tablet

I got a Ipad Mini and it seems alright to me? Never been a fan of apple stuff until I brought a mac last year, still dont like the iphones though!

I've had my iPad 2 for 18 months now, and honestly can't fault it.

I also have an iPhone 4S, which is free from work, so I'm not going to complain about that :shameful:

Missus has a iphone5, shes on here 4th charger! they just become unsoldered! fixed a few but they never lasted with those lightning connectors.

My wife as an iPhone 5, and it's her 2nd one. The first one was replaced because the home button just didn't work. This one has been fine so far (touch wood!)

I also have a iPad and I love it for a pad never been an apple lover but do like the ipads.
