Upscaling DVD Player

Well after listening to JasGrif's advise, I've upgraded my DVD player to a Upscaling one for HD.

Well, been watching DVD's on it all afternoon, and I am well impressed with the picture quality.

Only problem I have with it, is that the DVD player was only £70, but the HDMI cable in most places was £60! Managed to find a cheaper Philips one for £40, so quite happy.

I'd highly recommend getting one of these if you have a HD TV.

ive seen the quality on my mum and dads hdtv with the skyhd box and that is amazing so when they bring out hd dvds the quality again will be superb i was looking at a hddvd player today in aldi or lidl i think for 60 😃

Yup, the problem going to be with "proper" HD DVD players, is that the size of the files used are huge, so will need to be used with something like Blue Ray when thats released properly, as the say a full film in HD will need about 20gig.
