Vectra GSI Backbox to SRI 150 2.2 ?

Hi all, can i fit a GSI (twin rolled) backbox onto my 2001 facelift saloon sri 150 or would it be too big ?

As above, should fit fine to the existing exhaust. Do you have the GSI body kit fitted as well (appears so looking at your avatar)?

I had one on my sri150, fitted perfectly .... once I straightened the hangers :rolleyes:

Removing the centre section makes it sound quite raspy. Do you have a sport cat fitted as well?

I found fitting a straight through remus centre section made my Vectra b far to loud. only had it on for 5 days, still got it in the shed.
late spec gsi back boxes where made by remus and are a direct fit to standard or replacement centre sections.

Yeah I do indeed had 2 yrs of a loud exhaust I swear it sent me deaf lol .I sold it too @[deleted] even he had enough of it

see i just want some nice suttle tones nothing that sounds like a mopen with a sports exhaust fitted

I had 2.5" down pipe, pre cat removed, 200cpi cat, 2" remus cat back system with centre silencer, deristricted joints, remus twin 3" round back box.
sounded great, not to boomy but with a realy nice rasp when you gave it full throttle. stayed quiet when cruising at motorway speeds.
still got the cat back system for sale.

letterboxes with racing tubes is nice

the scorpion / remus gsi back boxes with racing tubes is very loud

the irmscher back boxes do a good job with racing tubes imo

then again removing the cat makes a huge difference

My old estate was loud... 2.5 in downpipe. 200cell cat, Remus centre and magnex back box.... But i liked it..

sorry guys not been on in a while been busy with digging up the whole garden building fences and seating area ready for next year and i still havent fitted the exhaust but i have done one mod and that was buy a new cat and removed the pre cat got 2 new lambers so will hopefully be fitting all this over the weekend comming
