Hi, my auxiliary belt has shredded again! It is separating lengthways, first time was soon after I stalled the car doing a u turn so I guess it had jumped off the channels and gone on to the lips and shredded.
It has happened again today shortly after I had done som fast acceleration up to 3rd gear maxing to the revs, I guess it jumped out of the channels again, could this be the tensioner? It seems to have a good resistance on the spring, everything seems aligned.
Advice please before I purchase the tensioner.
P.s there is a slight oil leak at the bottom crank, getting the belt a little wet, this belt has only been on for about 3 months
