SUMP SEALING!!!!

Right im having issues sealing the sump on my engine.
ive had it off 3 times now and used 3 different types of sealant and its still bloody leaking.
ive followed the guide as to where to put the sealant and how to do up the bolts but still no joy!
Ive just done a complete rebuild on the engine and everything else is fine apart from this one little problem! and needless to say its driving me blooming insane!
anyone got any ideas?

how long you leaving the sealant before adding oil to the sump and running the engine?

2 successful seals with this stuff after 20mins oil in and run had to use a glass razor on the mating faces to get the old stuff off

I normally leave engines overnight before running them, but make sure you have cleaned the surfaces of any old sealant before applying the new stuff

probably not leaving it long enough. i got a mechanic mate of mine coming round tomorrow so itll get sorted! either that or itll be for sale lol! cheers for the info guys!

still leaking! doin my head in now!!! black sealsant used by a trained vauxhall mechanic left 24 hours and still leaking!!!

crank seal flywheel end ? wheres the drip coming from ?

do you have a picture of the leak ?

As @[deleted] asked, it might be easier if you have a picture of the area where the leak is originating from.

right ive used proper gm sealent and seems to be ok. But decided to break car as getting to the point where im not enjoying it anymore!

when you put the sealant on did you smear it with your finger ?
ive done 3 now and not had anyone come back saying there lacking just a small 1-2mm bead round the inner perimeter
i do clean all the old stuff off with a glass razor then wipe the oil away
