First of all sorry if they's a thread already answering my question i just couldn't find it 🙁

The coupe is getting a service this week and i'm going to do the air box mods with k&n panel filter. My query is this. I've seen u guys talk about veccy c air intake mod, i assume the air intake is off a vec c 2.2? As pal told me a vxr or a air intake off the cdti are better:cautious: . So i'm confused on which one i need :confused:.

Please point me in the right direction 🙂

Its the vectra c deisel mate. 9177099 thats the product code for the pipe and this is the product code for the adaptor to the airbox 9177104.

I think Vauxhall have discontinued the Vectra C pipe, and most people are now fitting the VXR pipes.

Alloy pipe, 90deg silicone elbow, 45deg silicone elbow for the airbox, and the painted cover.

how would i get the sensor into the alloy pipe? Prob have to take it to a fitter? Or troll internet for one already pre-made? This is the route i'm going and instead of the courtney sticker it'll be Z22se.co.uk in bright white.

Hey guys quick update. Order all the parts for my intake. Gone black sparco hoses and my mate can mod the alloy pipe so I can put the air sensor and breather connector on it. Engine cover off to local bodyshop I know with my imrscher rear skirts. Will have pics up when done. Then onto to my next mod.

I done my intake the same mate the hardest bit is getting the old intake out from under the slam panel. I ended up using a hacksaw blade and cutting it into smaller bits

Thanks for the heads up bud. Did u find the alloy pipe easy to mod to get the senor and breather on it?

The sensor is simple just drill the hole the same size as the rubber bung on the standerd intake and use that to fit it. The breather is harder as i had to ask my uncle to weld a small alloy tube for the pipe to fit on.

Im the same, if you know someone that can weld the bit on for the breather then you can do it all in under an hour (y)

Just got my silicone hoses in the post this morning. I'm positive ive been sent the wrong bore size for the 90 degree bend that connects to the throttle body. The bore size I received is 80mm and im sure its 76mm. I got a note in the packaging from supplier stating I've order wrong pipe(76mm) so sent me the correct size(80mm) for it to connect to the throttle body. Anyone know for 100% the correct size to save me taking standard one off.
