I decided to apply to work for virgin media so I went through the stages of an on line assessment, telephone interview then assessment day.
I passed the first two stages so I took an unpaid day off work to attend the assessment day.
Some 20 days later after attending I received an email saying I had been unsuccessful, they also wanted feedback from my experience;
I had to take a day off work thus losing money as I am paid by the hour, you gave me less than three days notice to attend the assessment day then I waited over 2 weeks for you tell me I had been unsuccessful, An email simply saying I am unsuccessful is quite disappointing considering I gave you time for an online assessment, telephone interview and 7 hour assessment day
I also found your company quite embarrassing and rude to not be offered any free refreshments considering I spent a day at your head office.
To be told by an area manager I was applying for one position with ten of us attending was very concerning considering I asked the same question before attending the assessment day to be told a different answer.
Forget working for you, I doubt I will ever be a customer of yours either considering how I was treated. Being treated like an idiot works both ways so excuse me if I tell my friends and family how your organisation works
