Hi all I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place apologies if I am,
I have just bought an astra coupe 2.2 SE2 and unfortunately just realised I've bought a bit of a lemon lol it seems the piston rings have gone the car is drinking a lot of oil and smokes a lot under heavy acceleration Not sure if its linked at all but it's not idling properly it flutters up and down between 900-1000 an sometimes stalls itself I have cleaned the throttle body and done a service plugs oil and filter etc not really helped tbh its a real shame as I love the car and I'm prepared to spend a bit of money on it so if anyone has got a decent engine please let me know
