new intake

had a k&n on my astra for a while but it was getting bad heat soak so decided to go back to the standard box de-restricted it with a vectra c intake and courtenay sport panel filter. then decided to customise my intake to the TB heres the results...

not to keen on the blue pipes might change them to black. views and opinions welcome

Hi mate, great job on the intake. Would like to know a couple of things as im looking into doing the same thing myself.
Did you make the intake yourself or did you purchase it, if so where did you get it from?
Hows the clearance once the bonnets down, as a few other members have done this and had to mod the shape to get it to fit.

I bought the 3 pipes from ebay and got my uncle to weld on the bit for the breather. Took me about an hour or so to fit it. The hardest bit was getting the old intake out to replace with the vectra c one,

I cant see any bit where its fouling the bonnet but it is a snug fit, i was thinking about getting the chrome pipe flattend abit.
