z22_cariad hi there i got a rattle at start up but it goes after 60 secs of idle. is this something i should start to worry about

Dazzler Have you isolated the aux belt system to make sure its not a pulley? Have you done an oil change recently?

Im about to change rocker gasket n maybe to plastic cover so was gonna do oil change same time. Needs doing as oil looks like crude oil. Ive not taken cover off to isolate anything
Dazzler old oil not good for the tensioners. you may need to do a couple of quick oil changes. you may then find it quietens down. while rocker cover is off check main chain is not slack.
