Oil Temperature Gauge.

I have just fitted new gauges to my astra Oil Temperature and Oil Pressure using the Oil Switch port to connect a remote the Oil Pressure Gauge seems to be working ok but the Oil Temperature Gauge doesn't seem to be reading the temperature even after the engine running for 20mins. I have check all of the wiring to make sure it was connected right in case I miss something. The gauges are Racetech Stepper if anyone can give some feedback on this it will be appreciated.

what size was the oil pressure switch in the end ?
m14 x 1.5 or m12 x 1.75 ??
is the temp probe at a remote location or is it in the block ?

i only ask as im trying to fit an oil pressure gauge myself and finding it hard to get the right fittings

oil temp gauge sender should be mounted in the sump for accurate readings.
where you have it in the oil pressure sender location will not be a true reading of oil temp more of block temp

Oil Pressure Switch is M12X1.75 I used a auto meter adaptor 2278 with 1/8 NPT.
