Well I signed up on here a few years back when I had an isue with my Astra Coupe 2.2 and found some really useful info. Haven't posted at all really as I mainly use AOC but after seeing your stand at PVS and having an engine transplant recently thought I might as well get involved.
A few months back now a mate cost me a lot of money by sending me a whatsapp message that Mark from Courtenay's original supercharged 2.2 Sri was up for sale. I'd always like the idea of having the conversion but had been stopped by the price previousy. Only last year my original 2.2 went and I toyed with a Z20LEH or LET but just wasn't attracted by either so just fitted another 2.2. However this time the price was too good to turn down especially with everything else I could take off of the car.
The lads at Griffin Autos made short work of dropping the subframes from the Sri and my coupe and swapping the whole front ends, followed by the 2.5" milltek, KWs and ARBs off of the Sri onto my coupe. As soon as I drove it I knew I'd made the right call, it's like having a new car again. I've driven the car daily since making it (with a few issues) to Opel Treffen in Germany and around the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago followed by PVS last weekend.
Anyway enough of my chat, here's some pics of the car since the conversion:
