i think they all get scared as it cost more to program the ecu than it does to buy and astra coupe with a 2.2 and 70k on the clock 🙂
did he get rev3 out yet ?

Which uses LS4 TB
I believe version 3 is under test with water injection

the base maps are all the same but different for astra/vectra cause of the cooling module and the vx220 one is just the vectra one with a real low rev limiter
the base map is then modified to suit you car by klassen then uploaded by cs 🙂 so as long as you say vxr injectors they can set the base map to give less fueling

almost right but all 3 cars have different base maps. vx220 is easier to map as it has less canbus than other cars, no air con, less cooling system out put triggers.
you could send your ecu to them carl and they will swap it to vxr injectors before you go. that's what im doing but swapping to vx220 map to over come other faults.

all 3 are the same part even cs said they could swap a astra to vec b and vx220 to astra

the base map only affects the engine control part of the ecu 🙂 hence why my car still has the egr shut off by vauxhall 🙂 and then the cruise control still works
can bus is 2 wire all 3 are one wire half cb

i thought about sending the ecu but its just as easy for me to fit the injectors there its only 10mins to remove the fuel rail 🙂

Well im glad i can stop pissing about trying to find z20let injectors and just get vxr ones and tell CS to sort it out on base map lol.

What size battery do u guys recommend for the install?

the thing is you're not going to need vxr injectors unless your running over 270hp

canbus is 2 wire on ALL z22se ecu's its the amount of things it talks to that makes it different. green + white wires twisted together are the canbus wires from ecu to body.
yes you can swap between cars, apart from Vectra B as it throttle pedal input is totally different to the rest. as is the out put signals for cooling.
the map the ecu has from Vauxhall, ie astra, Vectra, vx220 is different this part is what im talking about and it does effect the sc base map.
been talking with cs about mine and the best route to go. more work for me but im going vx220.

only thing i have on my car thats proper canbus it the ncdr1100 i just fitted 🙂 and thats singled out to 4 items and separate from the car and has the brown/white trace single wire connection (half can)
never hear about the vec b pedal even if it is different it still runs the same t/b

the signal from the pedal is different, you cant just swap the pedals. Vectra b is stepper motor type and the rest are dual pot wiper type.
ive tried and it only runs in idle, full limp mode. 🙁
abs/tc will talk with ecu via canbus, also the auto trans boxes use canbus, not that that's relevant to us.

So this vectra b map I have will be no good for the Astra then, so not worth getting it changed over as the pedal input will be different?

Right I've only got the supercharger kit in my possession however parts that are paid for and on there way are....

bosch water pump
avt charge cooler
Courteney sport map sensor
Courteney sport idle pulley and bracket
genuine brand new vxr injectors
5x injector plugs

just need to get the pipework for the cooler a suppressor for the alternator and the base map and possibly a smaller battery then I'm good to go 🙂 oh and a couple of new gaskets but I'm nearly there finally..
I better get the car in for an mot so I can pull the van apart 🙂

Im still thimking of doing away with my aircon i havent used it for nearly 3 years and it needs a new condensor too plus i can use the button for led intetior lights in the back or a fanswitch or something. And it saves a small amount of wieght lol
