As some of you might know from a previous post i had ordered a new Meriva for my wife. Well the problems just did not stop;
1 told that model spec has changed now no alarm, not even an option
2 told that no integrated bluetooth, spec change again.
As we could get around these problems with after market kit, we carried on with the order.
Now weve been told that spec change again and they can't confirm 17 inch alloy wheels, can't confirm design of wheels, cant confirm even alloy wheels.
WOW what a bunch of dickheads, how can you sell a car from a brochure and tell the customer "sorrry but you will have to wait until the car gets here to see what wheels it has got"
Needless to say, we walked out of there with our deposit back. Shame it took 5 weeks to get nowhere.
Bought a new Toyota Corolla Verso mini MPV thingy. 2.2 turbo diesel, quick as you like with 143 bhp, 9.4 to 62mph, all the toys, bluetooth, cd changer, rain sensing wipers etc etc. Collect it on 29th Sept.
Shame to lose the Meriva but this is our first brand new car and it is supposed to be a pleasant experience, or it should be as I can think of far better ways to have fun with 18 grand.
So two 2.2's now then!!! one astra and one toyota.
