i am the proud owner of a 2002 vectra b sri 150 estate, i have been joining a few forums so i can familiarise myself with the common problems that are associated with this model. in the past i have owned a 1999 2.5 v6 saloon and a 2.0 gls estate each having their own little 'quirks'. i am currently going through the egr valve problem and have cleaned the valve with carb cleaner then a goods dose of wd40 and it seems to have helped, but i shall be using the blanking plate and cheater as everything seem to point to removing this evil little thing. recurculating exhaust gases must be bad for an engine in my opinion.
