Backups

I've had our host enable R1Soft CDP backups on the VPS, and we are now taking snapshots of the whole set up every 6 hours!

There will eventually be 14 days worth of rolling snap shots on there, in case we have any issues (y)

This ties in nicely with my 14 days worth of database backups that I keep off site on Amazon S3 storage.

What sort of hosting setup have you got then? I take it's not shared and your have a VPS?

For what I pay, I could go dedicated again, but wouldn't get the benefits and performance of the VPS.

It's much faster than the previous VPS we were on as well. The old one had access to 16 CPU cores, and 4GB RAM. The SSD in the new ones makes a huge difference from what I've seen so far.
