Ive just joined today & I have been driving my 2.2 Direct Zafira B for nearly 6 years now & its been very much an eyeopener on the modern car engine! Having said that I have grown a strange likeing for the car & engine even though Ive had a timing chain snap & the replacement then nearly letting go leaving many teeth missing on some sprockets plus the gearbox fail and need replacing.
The tip that I would have loved to have given myself when I first got the car is OIL & FILTER using 5w 40 fully synthetic ever 3 thousand miles at least, plus change that 95 deg thermostat! for an 82 deg one. Anyway to late now but hello to everyone :rolleyes:
