Sjdickso Matt said: Holy fuck! Si had my rear bumper smoking and didn't even go through the clear coat! I remember that time well, holding the pad steady at constant high speed is not good. Like Matt said when having to hit some defects you have to work hard but the only time I ever burnt through paint was on fresh paint with a rotary right on a corner.
Sjdickso stokie said: i used auto finesse restore What rating it that? And was it with a cutting pad? Did you you it on a very high speed?

Sjdickso As you found out no clear coat, hence he reason they oxidise so quick when not treated, only thing I can say is possibly its been mopped before and the paint was very thin in the area. Really unlucky though.
