stokie I need to get some new springs and i was thinking about getting some Eibach springs with 30mm drop but i was wondering would they be ok on my standard shocks or should i get bilstein shocks as well
evocarlos i ran 40mm springs on the standard shocks for 7 years on the coupe think they're the same shocks on the 3 door
Matt Standard shocks are fine with Eibach 30mm springs. You only really need uprated / lower shocks if you are going for a drastic drop
evocarlos i did 🙂 but is down to the wheel and tires mine are 8" rim with a et42 so caught at the rear
Andy_Lucas in your profile picture the wheels look close to the arches already, I have 215/40 17s and gap is huge on the front arch so just ordered the eibach pro kit and might buy 215/45 tyres to correct the speedo
stokie evocarlos said: nor is mine but its in there 🙂 i think your car is really good and i would love to own it
MikeS standard sri drop is like 20mm you only dropping another cm it is really hard to decide as you have to take in axle weight into the mix as well 50/30 is right but I am unsure if 215/45 will shred my arch liners
MikeS 50/30 on 205/40/17 will be fine just expect a hard ride, i went 215/45 as I cant handle the potholes
stokie do you think 50/30 on 215/40/17 be ok on standard shocks or should get the bilstein shocks as well plus would i get much rubbing
