Andy_Lucas I have just brought the 308 brackets to upgrade the brakes but havent got the discs yet, but i have come across a full set of VXR brakes for £280 looks like eveything is there and wont need painting. Advice which to go for please guys
Daz Depends what wheels you have. As 16's won't clear the calipers and some 17's won't either with the vxr ones Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
evocarlos looks good 🙂 rear calipers will need spacing 5mm to fit mk4(red) mk5(blue) unless you use the mk4 carriers and the mk5 calipers like i did fronts are different calipers from the mk4 but i believe there a direct fit pads may be different they may be 322mm discs as matt's just changed his
Andy_Lucas I have irmscher 17s but I think VXR is maybe OTT and I've brought the brackets now.. They are cheap but I could buy lowering springs with the money lol

Andy_Lucas Is 14mm bigger disc and those calipers worth £280?? Plus I will prob need new discs and pads. I have a tullett manifold and comp cams waiting to be fitted as well lmao
Sjdickso 280 for the full kit isn't bad, 322 will give great stopping power but 308's are a good improvement over standard setup.
m4rtin I am also looking into doing 308 upgrade 🙂. However if you do opt for the vxr setup I will be more than happy to take the carriers off your hands lol.
