snowy I have fitted my EGR cheater and blanking plate. This is how I did it but is there a better way? Thanks
Matt So you have used the part which is actually connected to the EGR valve, cut it in half, and soldered the cheater directly to that?
Matt snowy said: Yes. As I didn't want it to work loose. That actually looks like a really good way of fitting it (y)
snowy Thanks. I just cut the top off the EGR the filed the back to reveal the copper conductors. Then soldered the four pins in and taped it up. Will be heat shrinking it once I get some large enough. I assumed everyone did it this way?

Nope, it's designed to plug into the other half of the connector https://z22se.co.uk/threads/how-2-fit-egr-cheater-plug-in-version.17115/
bigdunk1985 think i'll be going with the** plug in** way of doing it but does look a good alternative
jwalker I found the pins are a good fit in the plug, I have had mine on now for about 70,000 miles and it's still firmly attached 🙂
Matt snowy said: I must just be paranoid lol!!🙂 Nothing wrong with making it secure like you have done. I actually really like how you have done it (y)
PowR_Remap Mines covered in heat shrink. Might take this off and stick glue gun all over it then heat shrink it again.
