Matt I've moved the site onto a new server this morning. The new server has SSD drives, and twice the RAM. We are now on there, so if you have any problems with anything, please let me know.
Matt Oh yes, it should be pretty quick with loads of room to grow. We were with the last host for 4 years! I've now go to update the forum software, as they have released a new version just now 😉
Matt Just had to change the IP address in DNS as we now have a dedicated IP specifically for the shop's SSL certificate.
Matt Simon Ward said: Cloudlinux and Litespeed on mine 🙂 I've never played with either of those. I've got CentOS and Nginx running on my test server, and Ubuntu at home on my Desktop.
PowR_Remap Used to run Linux Mint on my desktops years ago.. Now its pretty much Win7. My Mac Pro runs OSX 10.8 & Win 7
Matt Laptop is Win7, I've only gone Ubuntu on the Desktop because it's older hardware, and didn't run very well on Win8
Matt Simon Ward said: Win8 uuuggghh, tried it, removed it! Yep, same here. Apparently they are releasing a Win8.1 which brings back a lot of the familiar menus and isn't aimed solely at touch.

Matt Yep, I couldn't get on with it either. Glad I only paid £15 for the upgrade and not full price, other wise I'd have been pissed off with it.
Matt How are people finding the speed of the site now we are on the new server? Personally, I can tell a difference, and it feels really quick and snappy (y)
