Yet another year with Adrian Flux

Had a renewal price of £576 (inc. breakdown) from Adrian Flux so had a quick go at Confused.com and AXA offered a policy for £404 plus breakdown.

After haggling with Adrian Flux I got a renewal of £400 plus breakdown. GET IN!

It's good they beat their prices but then they obviously haven't given the 'best price the can offer' in the first place then which annoys me.

Like the double glazing people who have to phone their manager for a better price etc.

Will be looking at Adrian Flux, Chris Knott etc come renewal time 🙂

No insurance company offers you a good renewal price, annoys the hell out of me, I'll happily spend a day online/phoning to get the best price

I've got them trying to get me to pay 700 when comparison sites are offering less than 400 their gone.

yet a shock they would try and charge more lol

blackmailed them down to 450 inc breakdown, hopefully ill recover my imported car penalty for last year as they have now admitted it is british, bunch of twats.

That's what I ended up doing. The specialist brokers were initially wanting £1k from me, but managed to get it with Direct Line for £450. They would come down, but with interest on the APR, it was still quite a bit more at the end of the 12 months.

lol mines up on the 11th of june just after pvs and just before my birthday lol
might give them on here a test see what they can do for me and then laugh and go to compare site

Always worth having a go with them, as you never know what they could come back with.

Just re insured my corsa B with Flux, £419. all mods listed got the other 2 corsa's with them as well no other company has come close on price. many refuse to quote due to all the mods on the B & C.

i have accepted thier offer, like you say with interest and admin it works out 50 a month, but in my expierience with comparison sites the may have said 400 but by the time you add breakdown (cant tow auto's) and various other bells and whistles its rarely as cheap as the quote.
to be fair to them also they insured me when noone else would (seems noone want to insure the first year of owning a fto.) and i think they were trying their luck with sending a auto renew out.

what is criminal is how my insurance can sway £400 cheaper in a year.....................
