short shift

Hope this is in the right section, and if not sorry.

I've got the chance to buy an astra short shift with the reverse under the 5th gear but would it fit my vectra?

Any help on the matter would be great as i dont want to buy it and it dont fit

What short shift is it, have you got a link?

There is few out there, some replace the full gear knob etc. others shorten it requiring pins been removed etc from gear selecta.

That works fine.

I ain't that technical but that to me looks standard.
The B&M one is machined CNC alloy I think Johnny has one, seen this on LMF

I have the LMF style one fitted to my F23 Astra G and it's amazing!

I have added a 13mm spacer beneath the shifter assembly to raise the whole lot back up or it would be awful changing gears with the armrest in the way.

When I measured mine the whole thing dropped by 2"' in height, the throw between 1st & 2nd etc went from 9" to 7"

Not sure, haven't seen any advertised in a while I think knocking the pin out was too much of a nightmare from what remember.

The one in your link looks standard to me not sure if someone else can confirm, what is the seller saying about it?

He just said its an astra short shift. He is selling it on vvoc. Tbh i haven't a clue on these things lol

I would confirm with the seller how it shortens the shift as it may be modified.
