Performance Exhaust Mounts

Hi all,

I have been looking for some performance exhaust mounts.

The only ones I have found are the Powerflex ones, LMF have these @ £5.88ea - P/N EXH003-AP

However I cannot find these on the Powerflex website, only the P/N EXH003 ... no AP?

I am wondering if they are different items or the same etc.

Has anyone else fitted some of these? or similar that they want to share?

I know @[deleted] has a full set of exhaust mounts on his Vectra B, but think they are just normal PowerFlex ones.

Powerflex also have their "Black" range which is race ready, depending how how stiff you want the mounts to be

They are just the normal ones Matt, they have just listed them on the "Black" range website, think its just the engine mounts that are "black"

I am wondering if there is anything different between the two p/n's

I've never seen the AP reference with the Powerfelex products before. Could always give LMF a call and see what they say (they are a decent set of blokes to talk to anyway (y))

I wonder what LMF have listed as the different product number then? Will be interesting to find out.

According to LMF, EXH003 & EXH003-AP are the same part, they just add the -AP for internal reference.

Now on LMF they are £5.88ea and you need 3 which is £22.59 inc delivery.

On eBay, £6.33ea x3 is £18.99 with free delivery.

Now do I support a Vauxhall enthusiast business or some random seller on eBay?

I've used a couple of sellers on ebay to get PowerFlex parts from (had to complete the last of my orders after Powerflex priced us out and wasn't able to compete any more).

Me personally, I'd go LMF.

I did just email him if he can move on the price as I would prefer to support them than a random ebay seller.

But he said he couldn't as he has to buy them in from powerflex and they charge him postage.

I still think I will go for LMF :-)

That is exactly what we had to do. It was then that PowerFlex also increased their prices, so getting parts from them, plus their shipping costs put us of of the market for them.

Yep, I've just had a look in the back end of our shop, and we had these for £5.99 each, plus shipping.

Cost price on that part is £4.58 inc VAT, but they charge £5.99 for shipping regardless of how many you are ordering.

Carl, you are right! Just went and checked under the car!

For what I thought would've been a relatively cheap mod, has now ended up being more!

Well I am going to order the 3 from LMF for the backbox as they are the ones I've put cable ties around to keep them on. Ill do the other 4 in a few weeks. :-)
