Hi all, im new to this site and could use some advice!
Whilst doing a motorway run i went to put my foot down and found that the car wouldnt accelerate like usual and that the revs wouldnt go over 4500rpm, i noticed the EML come on and flash briefly, but did not stay on, when i started to investigate the problem i have noticed that the car will rev to redline in neutral, but under load there is just no guts there.
I have cleaned the throttle body,air filter, there is a new EGR and i the coil pack is working ok, checked the Cat and it is all ok, although when checking the system, i have found that there is a massive crack in the exhaust manifold which i will change tomorrow, also noticed the the Plugs were all sooted up, when i change the manifold i dont think that will cure the problem ?????? any help appreciated cheers!
