ognjen ***As i sad , a noob question . If i put on mine astra g coupe the blistein b12 with eibach pro kit 30/30 mm and on mine car i have 225/45 tires (or 215/45 ) will the tire "hit" up if car is full or something like that . Do i need lower tires profil with new lowerings ? Like 225/35 or 215/40 something like that . Its on 17x8 rims***
guy_27 All comes down to wheel offset. If you are running 42 or higher with a 215 45 you won't have much scrubbing if any. I'm running et 35 17x8 with 215 45 and 50 30 b12 kit and before arch and bumper mods I had minor rear scrubbing and sever front scrub. I've eliminated all rear scrubbing but still have some on front with any passenger above 70kg.
ognjen hm i have et 35 i think need to chack that out im not sure . so with a 30/30 springs and a 215/40 or 225/35 tyre will not scrach at all ?
guy_27 Varies depending on wheels usually 42-48. The 888 were 35 but they had modified the guards and added the body kit to take the wheels.
evocarlos i cant say for 17" but with 18"x 8" et 42 and a 40mm drop all round each wheel caught the arch with 225/40/18 with a 30mm drop and 18" and 215/35/18 not even a catch not once so i'd say with 225/40/17 your good to go
ognjen Yes that what i tought , but 225/40 r17 tires dont exist i think ? Atleast i didnt saw any ^^ . Not eaven on the net , especialy not in any shop i looked in mine country . So the options would be 225/45 , 225/35 , 215/40
