Subwoofer protection/guard?

Good evening all,

I've finally nearly completed my audio upgrade with a false boot wall to hide the amplifier, PC sound card, fused distribution box and accommodate my JBL GT5-12 Subwoofer. The only problem is that the Sub looks a little exposed to 'stuff' in the boot compartment.

I just wondering whether other forum members use grilles or bars to protect their subs or have any recommended bespoke solutions? And, as always, after recommendations for good value for money products?

I'll update my auto-biog in a few days to show the work that's been done 🙂.

I personally never fitted anything to mine. Where is yours located in relation to the rest of the boot?

I just tried to not put any large things in there, or really crank it up when there was stuff in the boot. I had a JBL GT4-15 and the box was tilted upwards, so the sub was lifted out of the way

i got theses grills for my subs, not the prettyist but they do the job. not that i can get anything in the corsas boot now! :LOL:
worked great in the vectra though and can be remove quickly.
