Hello everyone,

Just joined the Z22Se club and I am the proud owner of a 2005 2.2i Direct Signum. The car had a slipped chain, so it's been in the garage for the last week, but hope to get her back later on today after she passes her MOT.

Can't wait to have you back baby!

thanks, all is good now, she had to have a new rear shock absorber, but not bad for a 140K motor

I know mine it's a Z22YH engine, but I have found a tonne of info on this website so I said, why not join?! :happy:

thank you. one question for you guys. As I said I got the car back after a slipped chain problem, all work was done, timing and balance chain replaced, oil and filters too. the car starts and drives well, but seeems a bit rough and vibrates a bit while accelerating.

NOPE, but the car sounds like a POWERTEC cone filter is fitted, K&N panel filter on the car

No smell. Car runs perfectly until driven and accelerated. I'm thinking it might be something to do with the exhaust, maybe the manifold or maybe just a clip or something.

hello everyone,

just wanted to let you know that the vibration was due to a couple of broken weld points on the exaust, just after the flexi connection.

the faulty part will get fixed with a new clip by myself this weekend.
