The latest purchase: 2002 Vec B 2.2 SRI 150 Saloon

Completely standard at the moment. Had it for about a month now and currently working through a small list of problems. All nothing major though

Only paid £450 for it, currently on 107k but no service history so will be doing one on it very soon

Yeah I know, bought the car spares or repairs with quite a few faults, mostly been fuses to get it all working though fortunately

Since then its had 2 new front springs and now just has a blow somewhere in exhaust which I need to investigate

And it could do with a new front screen as its cracked on pass side

But to honest nothing what it needed/needs is too major

Got a '02 GSI Saloon going down the road for £600 with 98k on the clock, I am tempted but I can't do it, but can i? Arrgh

Quite shocking how cheap they can be had for now. That's half what I paid for me gearbox repairing!
