Burnzi Im after lowering my engine bay temperature is it safe to heat wrap the manicat on my z22se or will the heat damage it in any way
Matt I don't think it's usually a good idea to wrap the cat. I've only seen it where people wrap up to and beyond the cat. Could you build a better heat shield to try and reduce temps a bit?
Burnzi The cat is at the bulk head side of the engine i cud fit a bonnet vent but i dont want to start making the car look tacky ill stick with a pannel filter as to the induction kit that is on at the minute
Matt or if you want the increase in noise that an induction kit provides, use a panel filter, and drill the airbox on the side facing the front wing.
Burnzi Ill give it a go when it arrives ordered it off trusty ebay im gonna swap induction noise for a exhaust tone i think. I fitted the oe twin exhaust off a direct vectra because i grew up a bit but im missing the noise and pops of my old single exit sportex system anybody on here gettin rid of a twin setup none standard for a vectra c
