remus center section/stainless steel race pipe

as the title suggests any one got a remus center section either remus or any stainless steel vesion
to fit vectra b they want rid of.

You can get a Hoffman race tube new £35 off eBay and they are a good fit too

wonder if they have a bigger diameter ?

i have a remus race tube here, only used it for a week as it was far to loud with the rest of the mods, 2.5" down pipe, 200cpi sport cat and remus twin 3" rear box. also got a muffeled remus centre section and the rear box, £80 the lot but its collection only. tried for ages to sell the centre pipe on ebay and no takers with £10 reserve!

Sure they are standard size Mike, think it was less than £100 when I had mine but that was some time ago.

I see so many say the race tube is loud, but I never thought it was I have 4-1 200cpi Remus going to dd exhaust back box and upto 4k it sounds nearly standard. No drone on the motorway, Matt will confirm.

Funny how people say Remus are loud also have a Remus BB, I wonder if the bb causes the issue rather than the centre section?

remus exhaust are 54mm internal bore for the vectra b. but restricted down to 46mm internal bore at the joints. mine sounded great with the muffeld centre section, nice and quiet with just a hint of sportyness when driving steady but loud when you opened the throttle hard. and a nice crackle/burble when you let of on over run. race tube made it louder than my corsa b x20xev on throttle bodies with straight through system and 3.5" rear box.

Interesting may try and get a sound clip of mine, maybe dd irmsher back box holds the sound back?

also it had no power gains over the muffled remus centre section. just made it sound like a btcc car! could be heard form miles away driving steady! doesnt sound nearly as loud on other vectras with differant engines though.

I ended up giving the centre section I had on the MK4 away free as long as they collected it, as no one would buy it.
