IDI_AMIN The Haynes manual lists 10 things that could cause loss of power Faulty injectors, spark plugs, injectors, timing chain, fuel filter, fuel pump, brakes binding, clutch slipping, vacuum leak at hoses or manifold, Uneven or low cylinder compressions
astra22bertoneauto Hi & welcome First thing I would do is take off the throttle body, turn it over and give it a good clean. They always get clogged up with dried oil. Whilst there make sure vacuum hose is connected from your inlet to the Fuel pressure reg on the rail. You could also have a look in the swirl pot where the pump is located and just make sure theres no dirt in there and pump is secure. There is a filter on the bottom that can also get clogged up. Remove rear lower seat, pull back carpet, remove black round plastic cover and then remove the fuel pump tank metal cover.
IDI_AMIN Uneven or low cylinder compressions this could be down to heavy carbon build up on the valves or pistons or it could be time to change timing chain possibly a combination of the two.But try the other solutions that require less work first What is year and mileage of car
