As it has the light pack I have updated all the lights including the puddle lights to canbus leds pure white etc.
Carbon badges are on order.
An obd scanner to enable me to read codes and change all the settings of the car etc.
Looking at updating the front and rear lights to LED angel eyes etc, then it will be onto some power changes, I/C, turbo, exhaust, then remap.
Your car still standard?

Yeah, haven't done anything with mine since you bought the Astra. Had to have the gearbox rebuilt 2 weeks ago though :mad:

Gearbox went???...thats unusual especially beens you dont drive it that much. Bet that was costly.

38,800 miles on the clock when it went, and cost £1k all in to have it fixed

fk me, i would have cried, thank god mine has been done 6k ago.
daz, thats still got to be rare on a car that only done 38k, was it faulty?

Yep, they can go at any point.

Thought about getting rid, but I'll own it in less than 18 months now, so a new house will be on the cards when it's paid off.

Had a 12 month old 8000k 3.0D M Sport one of them in 2008, worst car I have ever had, drove like a van, it went back 3 weeks later for a 2007/8 525D M Sport. Then left the job 8 months later, preferred my happiness than the money (y)

nice i spend £4 a week at the local jet wash 🙂 2 times a week its getting blasted off but really needs a good 2 bucket hand wash and a clay and polish its been far too long

I've only resorted to this because my pressure washer is still broken. There was no way I could attempt to clean it in the state it was with just a hosepipe and 2 buckets.

mine was given to be by a dads mate and it didn't work took the back off and tapped the pressure switch with the back end of a screwdriver and its been working ever since about 2 years 🙂

I've blown up 3 in the last 3 years :whistle:

Each one ends up billowing smoke out of it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with them
