I bought a brand new & unused throttle body on ebay for £30 😃 ,
with the sole purpose of enlarging it.
Using a pillar drill and 60 grade emery cloth pads i started removing metal
I enlaged the top (inlet) from 61 to 68 mm
and a couple of mm from the base (outlet)
The screws were ground down to as little as possible (to resemble rivets, instead of screws)
Fitting this is a piece of p!ss, if you can get the standard air inlet pipe out, then this will be easy!
On starting the engine, the idle shot up to 2500rpm then slowly settled back to normal.
WOW! what a differance!
the pick up is fantastic, it pulls SO much harder from idle to red line!
Defintly worth doing!!!!!!
