Sjdickso I was just wondering if anyone on here has done the 308MM brake upgrade? I am looking at doing it soon but just wondered if it was worth it? If it really did a make a difference as i feel the current a bit poor.
benny yes mate i did it on my vec b and it well worth it also fitted some bradded hoses ....great for stopping really really urgently lol there is a company on ebay called nottingham saab they do the brakets cheap the best pads to get are the police spec one's lissted at the dealers for the gsi's and sri's .......ive used genuin discs but they aint cheap but at the end of the day the choice is yours all im missing is the air deflectors but lmf seel them for £35 so ill be popping there for some ........(vx ones are £90)
Sjdickso Cheers benny, I was looking at getting the whol lot from LMF as they do it as a big brake upgrade. What do you think is it worth getting the Braded hoses as well?
benny yes mate they make the job lol .......some people also change the brake fluid for a synthetic type ive just stuck with the genunine stuf but im changeing it more often ..............also they will fit behind 16" wheels
simon1 had them on my sri150 for 3 months now . well worth it. get the braided hoses as well .. got mine behind 16s at the moment look awesome ...better when i get the tyres for my new 17s
Jatie_150 308 mm are a must had them on for 2 yrs now with the police spec pads & the cooling ducts :wink:
