Tesco new 99 oct fuel at 93.9 its a bargin or is it????

first time i am going to try it, in my clio i could make perth from cardiff a trip about 450 miles on 35 quids worth i think i was getting high fortys to the gallon,

i have manged 440 in the astra but its a 60 litre tank, being ten galln thats 44 mpg on stanard unleaded, hopfully i will squeeze a few more miles to gallon.

making the trip back to work tomorrow so will let you guys know how much i can get if any more than usual

i normaly get about 40mpg out of mine on the motorway.

going on hols on Saturday and will be filling up so might give this a try if i can find it and see what i manage.

Tesco fuel is one of the worst to use, its aparantly LUMPY as far as fuel goes.
You get what you pay for, cheep and nasty

A higher octane fuel would be wasted over here surely? I was under the impression it was only for Japanese/high performance cars?

i used normal octane petrol and i managed 417 miles on 1 tank of fuel cost me 67squid to get to thr r/r day which with my driving is quite good 😃
