Braided brake line connector pipe? where from??

Can anyone advise where I can purchase a pair of rear solid copper connector pipes for Goodridge braided brake lines like the pair that courtenay sport supply?

You would have to get them made up to suit. Most motor factors are able to make them up

Cheers Daz. I was hoping since Mk4 and Mk5 trailing sections are the same size there might be a forum member, or associate, that already makes them up since they're needed for fitment and often not supplied with the braided hose kit.

I'll contact a motor factor to get some sorted 🙂.

Some factors carry an application book which gives them the length , what unions and what flare is on the end of the pipes.
I'm able to make them up in work but would need the above info to do so, as when i do pipes i have the old ones as a reference as a rule

Only issue with ures is that those 2 pipes are not gonna be in any books as they aint fitted as standard. ..as the pipe thats on the car is and all in one with the flexi's

I know when @[deleted] fitted mine on the VXR, he literally shaped them as he was fitting them to the car.

i bought an earlly goodridge set that cam with no copper pipes had to go to my local motor factors with the old 1 peace pipe and have them make some up for me
i was going to get the flaring tool and pipe but could not justify the cost of the tool for 2 pipes its not a normal flaring tool http://www.amazon.co.uk/Laser-4850-Brake-Pipe-Flaring/dp/B003932XRI

Flaring tools not that expensive really, a cheap one is only £15...

not a proper brake pipe one 🙂 i did say its not a normal flaring tool
the cheap ones dont to the mushroom head flare like on brake pipes as ->here<-
they just do normal or double flare
i have one for my refrigeration projects but the flares it produces on small pipe im sure as hell not gona be using them on a brake line lol i not saying they cant be used but i wouldn't risk it

Thanks guys, your input is very much appreciated.

I spoke to Courtaney and they said they have the copper pipes made up to include in the kits due to customer feedback. They were very helpful but didn't say who their supplier was, lol, as they must have the spec for a Mk4 hatch.

My mate has had VXR front brakes fitted to his Mk5 and done the braided lines at the same time. He has kindly offered to measure his - and was the one that told me the trailing section is the same on the Mk4 and Mk5. From that I'll be able to get a pair made up 🙂.

However, if anyone comes across any I'd be grateful for a link...... 😉

I still have the pair from my Courtenay kit as I made my own up out of cunifer, let me know if they're any good to you.
