No, it was a comedy of errors TBH.
We got these, and had to book a table in the restaurant for 6pm (got there at 5:30pm).
Walks to where the room is, key doesn't let us in the block. Walked back to reception, out key opens the door on the other side of the block, with room numbers 20 above ours.
Got in the room, TV didn't work. Called reception....no answer. Walked back down to reception, they couldn't fix it (only needed the cable from the arial to TV replacing, but needs qualified sparky to do it for "health and safety"). Offered to move our rooms for us.
Gets in the new room with 5 minutes before having to go down for tea.
Had some food, and tried to drop the old room key off. No one at reception.
Back in the room, running a bath, notice only 1 set of towels. Calls reception.....you guessed it, no answer. Goes back into old room as I've still got the key and takes the other towel sets.
Get in bed at 10:30, and just started to nod off, and it sounds like there is someone outside with a slide whistle.....it's the bloody water pipes in the bathroom. Next door running a bath!
