dazla hi my crankshaft pulley seal on my z22se has started to leak. is there a easy way to remove the pulley without the tool as im a bit scared of disturbing the thing i dont want it to rotate. can anyone give me a step by step of how to do this job. cheers
vocky just undo the 21mm bolt, slide the crank pulley off and remove the seal with a screwdriver, you will need a suitable sized socket to fit the new seal without damaging it.
sandyc I normally use a breaker bar on the bolt, leave it hanging close to the ground and flick the starter. Disconnect the coil pack first though. My pulley didn't come off very easily so I had to use a slide hammer on it.
