Parting company with my Vec

Well after 12 months of totally trouble free motoring I will be parting company with my Vec at the end of this week.

We simply do not need two large cars in the family, so I have traded the Z22YH Vec for a Z18XER Astra, a couple of dealer pics are below.

This forum has been fantastic and taught me a great deal so I will still be a regular visitor to keep up to date.

Nice looking Astra! The Z18XER is a very capable engine. Friend at work has it in his 3 door Design Astra, and he loves the car.

Bet you are sad to see the Vec go but nice choice like it with XP kit on also.

Yes I will be a little sad, the Vec served me well, but I am looking fwd to having fun with the Astra.

The only thing I miss about my old Vectra C is the comfort on long trips. Was great for driving to Cornwall in.
