Mark_Dj I have lost sound on my main tv since I installed Windows 8 onto my pc. I have the pc in my kitchen and a lead from the pc to my main tv in the other room. All was good until I installed Windows 8 on my pc. I have the picture but no sound. Any clues on what to do please? Thanks

Mark_Dj How do I find that out? I have tried looking at the sound button on the bottom right hand side of the screen but I can only see a line in on that
evocarlos right click the speaker then playback devices there should be a list of audio devices is the one your after is not shown then see the above link^^ it show you how 🙂
Mark_Dj Sorted, I just took the audio leads from the rear of the tv and put them straight into my amp
Mark_Dj Not sure Matt. It's got something to do with Windows 8 as it was great before I installed that onto my pc. All is good now, it just means I don't get the vol on the normal tv speakers for stuff coming from the pc now. It's fine with the amp on.
