are the picture of your engine? I have found out that later z22yh's dont have an egr system but earlier ones do.
The EGR has to be working for this method to work, you can just blank a stuck egr. So yes clean the egr and everything around it, then run the car and see if that fixes any problems you have.
Just add the coolant to the header tank, if your using GM coolant mix it 50/50. If you think you have an air lock the pop one of the pipe to the heater matrix off on the firewall and fill the header tank till it runs out of the pipe.
The pipe you have shown is the correct pipe.
Just to recap, you can only blank it this way if your egr is working fine. If its not you need a new egr or you can fit the factory blanking plate and get your dealer to tech2 the egr out on the computer. Opcom cant do this only tech2.
