Error on my pc (Rundll32)

I have an error on my pc every time I start it up. It a Rundll32 error message. How can I fix this? Any info would be great. Here is the message I get.....

Can you have a look in the event logs and report back Mark.

Did this just start on it's own Mark, or has anything recently changed on your system?

It just done it on it's own. I am off out to buy windows 7 £120. Windows 8 is out now so I am a bit far behind lol. Not sure how to get the events log up mate, proabaly won't matter now I am going to buy windows 7. I bought something for my ps3 and pc and it only supports windows 7. So looks like I need to have it.

Most places don't sell it any more, as MS are pushing Windows 8 now. Are you still on Vista??

Yes Matt still on Vista. The gadget I bought today only works with windows 7 so i need it. I was looking at Windows 8 to buy but not sure.

Windows 8 is OK (I'm using it on my desktop PC), but I still prefer Windows 7 (have on my Laptop).

Matt can I run 64 bit or 32 bit as I have on now. I am going to download MS8 from the site

What CPU have you got? I would have thought 64bit but it depends on the age of your PC.

My PC was from about 2007 it's a Dell. It's just checked my pc and said I am good to go with MS8. It's downloading now £99

Good move to get away from Vista! Thought it was W7, 32 or 64 depends on your spec like Matt said personally I would say you are better with 32 bit at that age PC.

no way i would of sent you my win7 disc only paid £25 for the genuine install i never use it now

Windows 8 is now on my pc, not sure what it put in, 32 or 64 bit? It's a lot different from Vista for sure lol. It will take some getting used to, not sure how to shut the pc down lol

just press the power button on your case it will shut down on its own 🙂
there is a menu on the left of the screen im sure its in there to
win8 metro sucks ass
most try and get a win7 menu installed and do away with metro

Yeah, you need to swipe your mouse down the right hand side of your screen to access the menu. That has the power settings in there

How are you getting on with Windows 8 Mark?

It's ok. Every morning when I switch it on it says my pc ran into an error and it sends off a report to Microsoft, apart from that it's good. Do you know how to turn the password off when the computer boots up. I have to put my password in every time I switch my pc on, a bit of a pain
